The Middleport Heritage Society is proud to announce our cookbook, Treasured Family Recipes. It feature 250 treasured family recipes from many local families, as well as old photos and stories - Memories of Middleport. Not your usual cookbook.

Our cookbook is in commemoration of the Middleport Women's Institute's 1923 cookbook entitled Selected and Tried Recipes. A number of excerpts from this cookbook are featured throughout.
​
The cookbook is now available! If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself or as a gift and would like to place your order, please contact Joyce Osinga - secretary@middleportheritage.ca. The cost is $15.00 each.

Proceeds of the cookbook will go towards the restoration and maintenance of the Middleport Church. Your support is greatly appreciated!

ONONDAGA VILLAGE - THE GRAND TOUR

The Middleport Heritage Society is pleased to offer Onondaga Village - The Grand Tour. Our October 5, 2024 walking tour is in conjunction with the County of Brant Culture Days Events and a celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Onondaga Community Hall. Please join us for an engaging guided walking tour through the charming historic Village of Onondaga. The attached link (Join Us) provides further details and registration information for the tour time slot of your choice. In the event of rain, the walking tour will be replaced with indoor presentations at the Onondaga Community Hall.

The Middleport Church Trustees are happy to announce that the annual Cemetery Decoration Service at Middleport Church will be held on Sunday, July 9 @ 2 pm. We welcome The Rev. Cannon David Linn from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Caledonia, who will be officiating for us for the first time.
Food bank donations are gratefully accepted.

In conjunction with the County of Brant's Grand Opening of the TF Warren Group Cainsville Community Centre, the Middleport Heritage Society will have an informative display at the Community Centre - 15 Ewart Ave, Brantford (Cainsville) - 11:30 am - 2:00 pm.
Please drop by the Community Centre to visit us and see the amazing new facility.
Then drop by the church to see the renovations to date and to get your copy of the MHS Cookbook! The Middleport Church structure will be open for tours and will be offering our cookbooks for sale - 1:30-3:30 pm.
